June Goals
Almost forgot to post these! Keeping it short and sweet in the hopes that I’ll be more likely to achieve them:
- Absolutely NO eating in bed — this is how and where 99% of my binges have occurred in the past, and I need to get out of the habit of feeling like I “need” something to eat before bed.
- At least 2 liters of water per day — I’ve found that this really helps keep my hunger and snacking in check, and it’s good for ya! Win-win.
- Make a weekly workout plan, and stick to it. — enough said. Getting back in the workout groove is much easier when I have a structured plan each week.
- Edited to add: Weigh-in every week! — self-explanatory.
I think I’ll try to check in at the end of each week to see how I’m doing with my goals, just to make sure I stay on track. :)
Just threw together a healthy single-serving apple crisp—GIANT serving for less than 300 calories! Yumm… I just sort of made it up as I went, but would anyone be interested in the recipe??
just made some iced coffee with COFFEE ICE CUBES! and almond milk and sugar-free vanilla syrup. yup.
After blogging about them this morning, I knew today was going to be the day I went to Lululemon for some Groove Shorts. Love love love ‘em.

Four Things Friday: what i’m lovin’ this week
1. my morning latte (duh). made with THIS adorable espresso maker that my sister, knowing my caffeine addiction, gifted to me as a graduation present. my go-to at-home concoction is usually a double shot in steamed unsweetened vanilla Almond Breeze :)
2. these delicate gold stackable number rings from Lulu Frost. wouldn’t it be so cute to get your birth date, or an anniversary or just your lucky number?? (mine’s 4, for any anonymous gifters out there… hehe.)
3. these turkey burgers from SkinnyTaste! i made these last night, with a few substitutions, and they with a huge hit with even the most skeptical eaters. i used 99% lean turkey and they were still perfectly juicy… i also added about half a diced yellow onion for extra flavor. if you’re looking for an easy, healthy, and DELICIOUS burger, definitely give these a try!
4. lululemon everythaaang, but especially these Groove Shorts. literally my favorite yoga spandex short thing ever, i live in the one pair that i have—so i think it’s time to invest in another. they’re the perfect length and don’t ride up. perfect for running, yoga/pilates, spinning, or watching Real Housewives of the OC and eating froyo (ahem).

Just a couple from my progblog pics this morning. Feeling good about my arms and back. Feeling really good about myself in general. Which is a wonderful feeling and I wish it would never leave.
Just gotta keep on working and keep on living.

Glad I made myself run. It’s 90 degrees, yikes, but it wasn’t too miserable since the trail I like is shady. My sweaty “wooo endorphins” face and Kanye West - Mercy for the drive home!
